Dog-friendly Cotswolds
The Cotswolds is England's largest National Landscape (formerly an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty): rolling wolds, honey-stone villages and old coaching inns with flagstone floors and log fires.
The Cotswold Way runs 102 miles from Chipping Campden to Bath, and the gentler valleys of the Windrush and the Evenlode make easy dog walks between villages. Much of the walking is across farmland, so watch for livestock and keep dogs close near sheep.
